hello people! meet these two kintys...

i suspect they're actually twins tapi sekor betina n sekor jantan. they were adopted by my bestie Ikha semalam. before they left the house, Ikha named them Ophilea for the gegirl and Romeo for the boboys. just this is a normal scenario for me. giving away little kintys for adoptions to new families. :)

for the past 3 years, anak anak bulus telah membiak dengan banyaknya...and menghasilkan kintys yang comel2. dah more than 10 people who came and adopt our kintys. seriously, it's a joy i tell you. knowing that your lil' one is in good hands and the new family is excited and happy to adopt. ill put up an entry on the families soon...insyaallah.

i can go on and on and on and on when it comes about cats. they're super adorable creatures with attitude! ever wondered why Lil Dino calls me Aunty Meow? hahaha..go figure.

so, anak2 Ikha nie ada another 3 adik bradik that i wanna give for adoption. just so you know, they were born on the night Malaysia won against Indonesia masa game bola yang last nerve-wrecking last year tue. so now, they're about 3-4mths old. out of the 5, only one of them i kasi nama Apek. in honor of KFCM sebab that nite mata dia sepet. lol.

:: Kuching trip; Bla Bla Bla ::

the honest reason why im doing this post is because right now, im hungry. -______-"

haha. tetiba teringat i have some pictures of more food during my trip to Kuching. so why not....let's kill time.

i manage to spend only a couple of hours with Alisa. she apparently had a very 'happening' new year's eve until it made her sick a few days later! hahaha...sabar je la...so yeah, when we saw each other pon she was still kinda feeling under the weather. but knowing alisa, she'll make it happen, no matter what, to come and see me. yes, she's that kind of friend. and im so glad even-though we are miles apart, we somehow manage to keep that bonding of friendship rather close. :))

so, alisa came and pick us up for dinner on the last night. penat berjalan tak habis lagi but excited nak jumpe alisa pon ya jugak. like i said, it's usually dia yang turun ke KL to meet us...so this time seeing her in her hometown macam teruja plak! hehehe...for once i dont have to crack and think mana nak bawak dia makan. hah!!!

it wasnt that far from the hotel, Alisa brought us to this place called "Bla...Bla..Bla.." ..and seriously, the 1st time she mentioned it in the car she was like "i nak bawak u guys makan kat bla bla bla.." .....*silence* ......."no, tempat tu nama dia memang bla bla bla"...and i was like, "laaa...hahaha..ye ke.." ..sabar je la. Alisa's friends..eh wait, her sister's friends actually..haha..joined us for dinner too. Marion & Shyrone. new friends in Kuching! yeay! these two girls sempat discuss about the Music Festival while we were dining. meracuni fikiranku! aiyohhh...

ohhhhh.....i totally loved the place! it somehow reminded me of Changkat Bukit Bintang area in KL...but during the days when it wasnt as busy as nowadays. u know, the ambiance where it's cosy and relaxing. a perfect place to chill out and have dinner with good friends and talk about ntah apa apa nonsense. yeahhhh....nice kan? when we came the place was in red...they had an early CNY deco i assume. but still it was kinda awesome. mak memang suka!!

alisa mentioned that the portion was big so since everyone at the table was a first-timer to the place, we lantik alisa jadi ketua kumpulan. she decides the dishes...we were starving, so anything pon we akan belasah. haha..and she ordered:

the fourth dish was actually Ostrich Rolls. yikes! but it was yummeh! i ate the rolls and her friend habiskan my lotus flower. and of course we were all sangat kenyang! shared everything, makan sampai licin! berbaloi siot....hahaha..thank you alisa!

alisa kata Bla..Bla..Bla.. ada another two adik bradik called, The Living Room and The Junk. im soooo gonna try those two out if ever i visit Kuching again (which i will n must!) ...and maybe have a fun nite out with alisa for a change in her town. haiihhh...so tempted to check AirAsia tix now. hehe..

believe it or not, after dinner alisa sambung her activity pegi karaoke. tak reti penat pompuan nie tau...and for us...kenyang perut apalagi...zzzZZZZzzzzZZzzzz laaaa....

:: Kuching trip; day 3 ::

Abg Nik arrived right on time n we were still tengah mengunyah breakfast. i think i drank my coffee one shot kot -___-" ..we left the hotel soon and straight went to the orang utan place. rupanya there was a reason why we have to be on time. it takes about half an hour journey to the place and according to Abg Nik, orang utans kuar cari food around 9.30am. must be their breakfast time.

arriving at the place, we had to pay entry fees. the van parked, sumer orang turun pergi kat kaunter. yang tukang beli was my BIL. yang lain posing tepi van. excited wehhh....tak sampai 5mins, semua orang naik atas van balik...kah!kah!kah! confident kau nak jalan masuk kawasan hutan tue kan? drove in...about another 8-10mins or so. lagi ada hati nak jalan tadi..memang tak sampai la wehhh! lol.

Abg Nik dropped us at the parking area where we had to jalan turun bukit a bit to the orang utan area. turun bukit time yang pastinya is exciting for lil Dino...he was having fun indeed! senget-senget dia jalan and kekwat tak kasi anyone pegang his tangan! he walked and sometimes stop jap to clap his hands before he actually toleh kebelakang checking out on us. hahahaha...sabar je la..0_0

we were greeted by a ranger when we sampai at the entrance. but he gave us bad news. katanya orang utan dah lama tak keluar. sebab now is musim buah, so they can find their own food in the woods. they dont need to come by the park area. it's been weeks since they last came out. boohoooo! must be takde rezeki nak see them up close n personal. giler frust tonggeng...not! muekekekeke..there were also other groups of tourist there so what i did, i main joined jer the group for a little while. heard some stories about the orang utans n all. tahu tak one of the female orang utan is also known as Hot Mama. everyday she will make sure her hair is combed properly. but that's not why she's called that. Hot Mama is actually for her temper. jangan kau usik anak dia kalau tak nak kene lempang! seriously no kidding cuz the ranger who told the story wasn't even smiling. scary much? eh, did i tell u there was also some crocodiles here?

elok je we decided to make a move, frust tak dapat jumpe kawan2 (hewhewhew) one of the ranger announced ada kelibat orang utan somewhere atas bukit a bit near the fruit nursery area. tak sempat nak ajak the group that i followed tue, we ols one family cepat2 jalan naik bukit back to the parking area. amik kauuu....semput boboi! tercungap nafas nak oiiii....pheww~ got in the van and quickly rushed to the area where another ranger was waiting with his walkie-talkie. since it started to drizzle a bit, we sat in the van looking up in the trees trying to figure out mana satu orang utan mana satu dahan pokok. sepet2 mata sumer bagai.. -.-" and then i saw.....there was actually 2 of them. hanging from one branch to another. but skali imbas je la...nak tangkap gambar jangan kau berangan la.

after a while we left the place and shoot up to the taman buaya katanya....and yups, banyak betul buaya nya. seriously dari yang kecik sampai ke yang bapak besar sumer ada. nenek n atuk buaya pon ada. the place is actually a crocodile farm but they also have other animals as well such as birds, monkeys, otters, fish etc. macam mini zoo gitew. it was RM16 for adults and RM8 for kids above 3 yrs old. surprisingly about this place was it wasnt at all smelly! well kept i must say..and the infos on crocodiles are amazing! mcm biasa, i tweeted some while i was reading.

we sampai pon right on time another half an hour before the crocodile show started. while waiting, sempat jenguk the souvenier shop dulu. this was suppose to be last pit-stop but i couldnt help it. i was actually looking for sandals. must be the day before yang we stranded in the rain, my flat shoes were ruined! unfortunately, there were only belts n hats made from kulit buaya but no sandals/slipppers! the whole time during in the farm, mak jalan maintain noks! even lil Dino jalan laju from me...sadis!

up close n not personal, we watched the crocodile show and was amazed! ye la...orang KL mana penah tengok buaya live kannn...haha. if u were expecting a show were the crocodiles all line up and do a formation in the water following the music beats, i guess ull be dissapointed. sebenarnya, the show was to see how the caretakers kasi makan buaya jer. macam 'elehhhh...tu jer?' kan? kan? kan? please ekk..bukan sekor buaya okay...i think there were like 50 ekor or maybe more. and bukan anak buaya okeh...ini abang2 buaya yang lapau!! so please...calm calm water dont think no crocodile occay!

for the first 10 mins it was rather 'omg buaya, are u not hungry?' sebab they were all swimming around ignoring the meat hanging from the rope above the pond. then suddenly when one of them rises from the water to nnngggaappp!!! everyone had the same gasp and went..."wwwwwooooaaahhhhhh"...then tepuk tangan!! yes, mak pon skali did the whole routine and clapped my hands. u can imagine how kecoh it was everytime the crocodile bukak mulut when u have a group or maybe two groups of Korean tourists. they gave me those extra entertaiment as well. kuikuikui. about 45mins later we left the place, still impressed and amazed...."wwwwwoooaaaahhhhhh"...

perut kelaparan we headed to Satok Sunday Market. meriah u ols! it's like pasar malam tapi it's during the day. pffts! turun2 van jer...macam robot sebab terus-terus scan tempat makan. ada KFC..urghh!...ada Secret Recipe...huh!...then ada kedai nasi beriyani. i guess on everyone's mind ada enchanting of 'nasi..nasi..nasi..nasi..' ..but i had to attend to a more important stuff. if i dont find a pair of sandals/slippers, ill be kaki ayam in the next 10mins. my shoes dah ala2 mintak ampun dah....and thank God, i found some Roxy slippers yang sangat selesa for only RM7.....wakakakakakakakaka! *big-grin* bole makan dengan tenang.

Pasar Satok was like any other pasar i love to go. there was so many things. among them yang i didnt know was a fruit called Buah Dabai. there were lots! memandangkan i didnt know how to eat them, therefore we didnt buy any. for sure next time im in Kuching ill try some. alisa cakap sedap. (she told me when we met up later for dinner)..didnt buy much except for some souveniers for friends there. while waiting for my sister and BIL shopping, we lepak2 jap at Secret Recipe and to my surprise, right in front of it ada orang jual durian! selamba wehhhh! they were small n cute n the smell was tempting! haihhh...i offered to buy but takde sapa pon nak share makan....takkan nak melantak sorang2 kan? ishhh...ishh...

next stop was Muzium Kuching eh silap...Muzium Kucing! as in the cat..meowwwww! shesshhh! i love tis place! nie muzium yang tak kedekut sebab we were allowed to take pictures in it! best! no fees to enter the museum but u have to register any gadgets u bring in and pay fees for those. so if ure in there not bringing any camera or phone yang ada camera then it's consider free la...but how can u not?!?!?

the place is filled with infos about cats. interesting i tell u....very very very interesting. im a cat person (never a dog person. they scare the hell out of me ..yikes!) so being in the museum is like being in a time machine. first of all it makes u miss all ur cats at home and second of all it makes u a cat-guru. ahahahaha...i explored the museum on my own reading every article i laid my eyes on. there were histories, pictures, replicas and many more. ill share my picture collections in another entry soon k?

before heading back to the hotel, we made another pit-stop...this time by land not by water naik perahu..to Kg Gersik again. bought more kek lapis. seriously as if we couldnt have enuff of it! haha..my BIL also lari kejap towards the jetty area where he bought some Gambir for his friends and we bought a pair of Kayu Tas. this rainforest type of kayu is known to be used as a protection from anasir2 or benda2 tak elok. as a souvenier for the house i claimed it to be. :)

i met up with alisa that night for dindins! another entry for that. but it was fun finally seeing her in her hometown for a change. slalunya she's the one yang turun ke KL to see us. :)) one day i should come by with Farah Hani n Miya too...dat wud be a total fun! hahaha...

the next day our flight was after lunch so we left the hotel somewhere around noon. reached lcct as expected and greeted by my bro Tash. insyaallah, ada rezeki we plan to go again. i know there's so many places we didnt visit but hey, that would be my excuse to book another ticket flight kan!?! hehehe...Sarawak Rainforest Music Festival sounds tempting kan? ngeh~ngeh~ngeh~

to me, it was a great holiday to start of the year. it's great to be around family. and im gonna do this more often, i hope. am already planning u ols......please start menabung from now on ya! ;P

you know, when it's early of the year, u kinda have the tendency to read on horoscope for the year and what not? bukan la nak percaya pon but just for the fun of it?

yeah...me too.

i read on the chinese zodiacs for my year when i went for karaoke in Loudspeaker last week. elok je naik escalator terus ada this giant sylinder deco for CNY. kebetulan it was for the Monkey year...the very naughty yet witty animal ( percubaan masuk bakul angkat sendiri -_____-" ) and bla..bla..bla..it mentioned that it's gonna be a good year for those born in Monkey year..bla..bla..bla..tapi kene take care of health..bla..bla..bla..bab duit jangan shopping macam kau millionaire (unless u are)...bla..bla..bla..health lagi..bla..bla..bla..

and kebetulan i am here today:

my 1st asthma attack for the year 2012. uwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! not that i mind but i hate having those short-breath inhale exhale.pffts!

so dengan rela hati, sendiri drive ke klinik to get some help. and while sitting in a open space are of the Nebulizer Room, i had some distractions:

played the games, susun ABCs, moved the ducks and baby elephants from one side to another and spotted the 5 differences 5 times! who knew toys could be distracting! fun! next time (if any), im soooo coming back here! ;P

:: Kuching trip; day 2 ::

gud morning Kuching! ..it was a lovely morning tapi it was raining. renyai2 gitew.

padan la sejuk. padan la lapar. let's go have breakfast everyone!

breakfast in Basaga banyak variety. mostly menus are all cooked to order. those freebies would be cereals, fruits, juices and coffee. we didnt took d rooms with breakfast sebabnya takot rugi. mana tau ada yang tak bangun pagi ke kan? bazir. but breakfast per head was only RM15. puashati with the portion plak tue...

around noon we headed to the museums in Kuching. one area for 4 different types of museums. i personally love museums...and anything old with facts i dont know. u give me a shopping mall and an old historic building, ill choose the historic building first. im very curious sometimes it annoys people. haha...

first museum was the Muzium Etnologi. this was awesome. ala2 Muzium Negara but with more facts on Sarawak and stuffs. i tweeted on facts i read in the place. if only i can take pictures kann...there was a replica of rumah panjang in the museum. masuk pon bukak kasut kauu...felt like real! tapi bab kata my sis, "umah panjang nie special, sebab ada aircond"..haha obviously!

next to it was this so-called Akuaria. mainly it's filled with aquariums and fishes. macam-macam jenis. there was also a like a small pond filled with kura-kura. like banyak giler kura-kura k...they were actually lepaking ala-ala tengah sun bathe gitew..hewhewhew. we made like one whole round of the place and played the 'cuba-cari-ikan-itu' game..hahaha..sebabnya some of the aquariums air pon dah tukar color so nak cari ikan sampai ada yang x nampak! saja for fun..hehe..

then 2nd museum was the Art Museum. it was rather small but it was a definitely a nice gallery of arts. they made a replica of ayam jantan from tins of heineken! there was also this one particular part of an ancient zaman dulu2 door yang ada carvings of art on it. dat one caught my attention. couldnt take my eyes of it. cantik sangat walaupon lama.

3rd museum was the Muzium Sejarah Semulajadi. unfortunately we tak masuk pon kat sini. they were having an exhibition on types of rocks. no...not as in rock kapak ye adik adik..it's as in rocks the jenis2 batu. we passed on that one. went straight to the seberang side of the road, Muzium Sarawak.

Muzium Sarawak was full of history. about Sarawak, about zaman2 kolonial, about zaman2 James Brooke and all. it's filled with pictures too...interesting indeed. there's this one wall filled with pelbagai etnik/kaum2 di Sarawak. a lot of stuffs to learn. but we didnt stay long in the muzium. maybe sebab dah penat. or maybe sebab dah lapar. we paling lama duduk dalam kedai souvenier ..haha..borong...sakan! i bought for my sister in Sydney a fancy watch made of kayu. me and my other sister bought one too. sedondon gitewwww...ntah bila nak pakai dunno yet. probably raya kot.. -______-" raya is usually the only time kitaorang bertiga akan pakai something yang seakan sama. it's a sister-thingy. kuikuikui..

then we got hungry. rupanya it was nearly 4.30pm dah! padan la baekkk nye keroncong perut kan. since there was no shuttle waiting for us, we walked down to the town area to find a cab or shuttle. main destination; seafood center "Roof Top" ( bak kak lily ) ...then maksu plak cakap it was " Roof Stop"...but when i sms-ed Alisa, she said it's called "Top Spot" ...confident je masing2 kan? LOL!!

walking around the town area, which i dont normally do in penisular (kekwat x ayat?) was interesting yet melaparkan us even more. my BIL used to stay in Kuching before . many years tok kaduk lama dah dulu but he kept saying "town kecik..jalan pon dekat"...feeling ala-ala tourist kitaorang pon jalan la...and jalan...and jalan...and jalan...sampai hujan ko! thank God i was wearing flats! tak jumpe tempat makan tapi jumpe bank behind the Yayasan Sarawak. and us being friendly and all, dapat la kawan baru yang bole tolong drive us to Top Spot. hati berbunga riang, perut bergendang kuat.

Just in time sampai, the place pon baru bukak. we were among the first customer. Alisa dah pesan, "cari Ling Loong Seafood when ure there cuz they serve halal food" and that's what we did. went straight to the shop. got a table. and straight away order! muke masing2 dah ketat. lapauuuuu wehhh! ketam, ikan , udang sayur, tomyam and nasi putih utk 9 org. half way add on lagi udang, sayur and nasi putih 4. puas hati sehhhh~ for once i wanted to recite the pantun; gendang gendut tali kecapi, kenyang perut suka hati! ...hahaha. serious it was demz nice! even nicer when the bill totaled up to RM167....ONLY! for 9 mulut tu consider murah tauu...murah amat! lil Dino pon tambah nasi 2 kali...mak dia apatah lagikk...LOL. orang yang duduk sebelah i kiri kanan memang sah-sah la 2 mangkuk nasi confirm. i broke my 'no-rice' diet because of this and it was worth it! phewwww~

so full, we had a serious case of malas. malas nak jalan dah...hahaha...but then while borak2 baru teringat there were a few more friends yang kirim kek lapis lagi. so again....ber-perahu akak petang tue. this time, tahap jakun dah kurang. tahap pikir benda lain plak...like can i feel the water ala2 nak splash gitew..or how come it's only 50cents per person? mahal tak nak maintain perahu pakcik nih? nak aja aku interview pakcik nie...tapi segan. maybe if i ever go again ill do that kan...hmmmmm...this trip we beli dekat Kek Lapis Mira. we got to know, their cakes lagi moist and ada macam2 nama. ada kek lapis famous amos, kek lapis michael jackson, kek lapis 1Malaysia, kek lapis Maher Zain and even kek lapis Ombak Rindu! haaa...ko hado? kelasssss nama-nama kek sekalian kan? sangat glam!

on the way back elok jer sampai kat jetty, hujan lebat! maksu had to fetch us with umbrellas. basah tapi nasib tak kuyup. while tunggu reda, we coffee2 jap at this place called Khatulistiwa. very nice ambiance. then later headed back to the hotel. took a cab from the same place we took semalamnya. sampai abang driver tu pon dah tahu which place we were staying. small town eh? hahaha..and we were lucky to have met Abang Nik. he was one of the taxi driver. he offered to bring us jalan2 to 5 places the next day...like a tour package for only rm250. gud deal dont u think? lepas discuss and all we decided to take his offer...until he mentioned that he'll be arriving esok at 8am. aiyarkkkk! so early meh?

it's always, bila kene bangun pagi u end up tido lambat d night before. yes? no? or is it just me...hmmm..anyways, yeah...we tido agak lambat dat wednesday night but bangun pagi for our trip to Kuching. flight was at 7ish am so by 4.45am i was already up and called Anem. rupanya dia blom tido sebok tengok game EPL kot. kelasss kau jahhh!

nak dijadikan citer, arrived in LCCT just nice for us to check in those bags. i didnt check in any...tak nak membazir duit. ecehhh...mengangkut la kau beg ke hulu ke hilir kan? but im a light traveler nowadays. (comparing to zaman2 dulu laaaa...) now i bring only wat i think ill wear. if given options pon maybe an extra 2-3 helai jer. tis time jugak i did not do any pre-shopping for hols. angkut je apa yang ada. pakai je whatever u have. i didnt need to since i did some de-cluttering of my wardrobe and found those tops yang dah lama x pakai. so yeah...light traveler. yang berat was my toiletries and make-up. no one wanted to carry dat one. caits!

menggelabah started when i got to know my sis TERlupa nak amik lil Dino, Afif Aydin's birth cert. so my BIL had to patah balik to their house in Puchong to get it. he had an hour or so..being d eldest haruslah i membebel a bit but looking at my sister's face yang dah macam muncung tikus i ended up had only a short tarbiah bla..bla..bla..she's nowadays like mama, gets touchy easily. 6 adults and 3 kids was a bunch actually but this is what happens when u get flight tickets dengan harga rm35 return flights. ull end up wanting to bring d whole family along. nasib baik nenek malas nak ikot, if not ngan kerusi roda dia skali we checked-in kan tadi. hahaha..

my so-called-adventurous trip started when BIL arrived just in time and we had to run towards the boarding gate. macam dalam movie siot! serious tak tipuuuu....mak siap bukak kasut lari kejar kapal terbang tue. d others yang boarding dulu siap mintak inform stewardess to wait for us...and they did! sangat baik hati AirAsia nie kan?? kan?? hahaha..tercungap2 tak cukup nafas aku. bukan berjogging di pagi hari...nie lari pecut namanya! dah la our plane was park kat gate 02 which was yang paling hujungggggggg skali. all eyes were on us once we boarded...15seconds of unwanted fame. haha..d happiest person would probably be lil Dino. he was as cheerful masa adengan berlari-lari tue...hahaha!

arrived at d airport i called Alisa. she's one of my good friend dari zaman ITM days. all excited giving her the 'im-finally-here' moment talk when she told me the latest news; "Ala beb, Kuching flash-flood tau tis morning. Hujan non-stop"....*jaw-dropped* oh noooooo...baju i bawak sumer are like summer-time holiday tops! erks! terbaikkk...hujan dan banjir.and did not even brought any cardigans. pffts! .____.

thank God our hotel was not effected. kalau tak, confirm i nanges dulu kat airport awal2.kuikuikui. we stayed in Basaga Residence. very nice i tell u. cosy. choosing a place to stay was satu hal. at first memang ingat nak stay dalam town but while surfing the internet i found out about this place, called and terus book the very next day. i was thinking why not stay somewhere surrounded by trees and garden concept kan? i mean, kat KL nie jer dah penuh ngan hutan batu. ecehhh...feeling mother nature tetiba. partly was also the hospitality of the staff here. i dealt with Zura and she was really helpful! loved it! it was a nice stay, really. but, it's 7mins or so from the town by shuttle/car tapi if nak ikot macam mat salleh backpackers it only takes about 30mins walking. exercise nyahhh....

we were lucky, sampai hotel around 10am terus bole check in! oohh..sorry pics bilik takde..xsempat nak snap. all of us went for breakfast at the cafe and then sambung tido. bole tak?!?!? hahaha..our rooms were facing the swimming pool. can't mandi pon since it was drizzling. and that was also one of the reason we all jadi ular sawa....tidoq! woke up by lunch and took hotel shuttle to the town. per trip to town was about rm15. stopped right in front of Sarawak Plaza. masuk jenguk jap tak sampai 30minutes we dah kuar cari tempat lain nak menyinggah. then we found the miows!

the wajib pergi and take picture tugu of bandar Kuching. they were cute but giant sized. we parked lil Dino in his stroller kat tengah2 and everyone bergilir-gilir took turns taking pictures. sumer pics ada lil Dino. hehehe...nanti dah edit ill post it ya. sloppy bangun tido face masa nie....kasi i touch up dulu kayyy...

jalan punya jalan punya jalan...last2 we stopped at tempat yang sah-sah sedap, KFC. i know right? u must be like, KFC jer????? nak buat macamana, dat was d only smell that caught out hidungs! how can u resist that? kannnnnnnn?

later we found ourselves in Waterfront area. jakun kauuu jumpe sungai live! wakakakakaka...tengok dalam tv macam kecik kan? nahhhh...hambekkkk...besau jugak la. kalo berenang confirm dua hari. err..im talking about me laa..hahaha..beriya i texted Alisa tanya about the famous kek lapis seberang sungai in Kg. Gersik and she replied "Beb, dont think now is a good time to cross the sungai la..sebab arus deras kannn"....padahal we ols dah selamat dah sampai seberang. super excited naik sampan/perahu. jakun. again. and per person was only 50sen..*continue men-jakun*

it's been told Kg. Gersik has the best kek lapis. we pegi jenguk Dayang Salhah. indeed she was famous and there were lots of kek lapis. rambang mata siot......macam budak kecik masuk kedai cokelat! ill make an entry on d kedai itself nanti k...sebab nak share pictures too. borong kek lapis macam nak berniaga jadi nya! lil Dino was centre of attention there. their staffs all attended to him while mak n bapak dia busy pilih kek. God knows how many slices he had. mana tak nye...samples all atas meja yang sama tinggi dengan dia jer. bulat mata dia tengok those colorful cakes. took one and masukkan all dalam mulut. sabar je la...

took a cab back to the hotel and dine for dinner at the cafe in the hotel jer. a lot of people datang dinner in Basaga. it must the very chilled-out ambiance. cosy with their jazz music and all. and food was nice too! was planning our journey for the second day during dinner...jeng jeng jeng...

hallo!

tahun bila nak blog about my Kuching trip i dunno yet, but i will! soon! hehehe..my other friends are going there soon too so theyve asked me to blog about it walaupon trip tu takde la adventurous sangat pon. haha..but i must say i have a lot of good words to put for Kuching. nanti la ekk...soon ekk...

lil did they know, sepanjang i grew up when i was 2yrs until masuk darjah satu, ive had it all along. tapi bila msk zaman skolah ntah macamana it became very the serabai and suddenly i had those Mel-B textures which end up xde dah la sebab mama keeps tying my hair tarik ke belakang sumer buat ponytail apa bagai. x diva dah masa tue...*perasantan! haha*

then a couple years back i tried again, but it wasnt that short sebab my bff back then believed i could carry it. cehhhh~ never lasted pon. and when somewhere before NY tengah kemas2 bags i found this picture:

being a Gemini, i love surprises. especially if it involves my dearest friends.

the secretly planning and executing the plans. the kelam kabuts and menggelabah tak tentu arah feelings takot plan tak menjadik. but most of all, the face of the person whom u surprised-kan....priceless. hehe.

penutup surprise last year, i combined my bestfriend's n one of my gud-friend's birthday skali celebrate. being a very irresponsible bestie to Ikha (sorry juta2 ikha!) tis one was considered a very very very very belated b'day.the thing is none of us had time! bila i free, ikha keje. bila ikha free, i had other plans dah. i was determined to make it happen before the year ended though. so nak tak nak had to plan how to surprise her...hehehe..dengan ikha, there's no need for a grand celebration, just close friends that matters jer. janji we have a gud time. kan ikha?

so i invited Nana as well since her b'day falls on NY. knowing her for a few years now, she was really kind to help planned for my b'day bash in June. so in return i wanted to give her a surprise as well...sms ikha cakap nak celebrate b'day Nana and bbm Nana cakap nak buat belated b'day surprise Ikha. muahahahaha....

and guess what happened?

while they both we're helping me to 'teman' masing2 berkaraoke, we brought in 2 pieces of cakes with 2 balloons sambil b'day song was playing on the screen. they both we're practically singing to each other...bole tak? hahahaha...bila the cakes were in front of their face baru la muka dua2 terkejut!! LOL!! speechless!! Ikha was really surprised sampai her hand were shaking....hahahaha...terkejut sangat eh? Nana's face went blushing with pink cheeks...it was great!!

after snapping some pics then i just realized my face was bare plain!!! adoiyaiiii...not even a tint of lipstick was on me. lupa i just had a facial that evening then straight pegi grab those cakes in Empire...orang karoks, i had a quick touch-up kat tepi bilik...semata nak snap one last pics...

just so u know, im excited nak blog about my family trip to Kuching but when u have a cutey face like tis:

it was a gud getaway i tell you. being around family, having breakfast, lunch, tea n dinner together made us one big happy family yang krojer nye makan makan makan n senantiasa hungrehh..on hols katanya, takde maknanya nak diet! hahaha...nasib baik cafe hotel tutup at 11pm, kalo tak pukul 2am probably we d whole family would still be there hanging out. lol.

wat i love the most i think was the relaxing part we had away from the busy lifestyle. and i came back light-headed and more focus and determined too. gud for me eh? ;)

am already planning for the next and next and next short trips to take in this year. heeeee~ i loike! oh wait, i also discovered my pinky's hidden camera yang selama nie i didnt know mana nak cari. duhhh~ i know, i know..lame giler but lantak la kan? haha..and guess who took pics perasmian:

2012 opening week so far has been seriously unexpected I would say...I end up doing things that I've never done or dah lama tak buat. Niceeee...hehehe...wat a satisfying feeling afterwards!

Like 1st day of NY, I was home d whole day concentrating on my wardrobe arrangements. One thing u should know about me is that I tak suka uruskan kain baju. I would rather beli baju2 yang tak payah gosok just cause I hate ironing baju. Lipat kain tu ada ampun la jugak but menggosok is so not my thing. Dats why I get weird bila I see people gosok sluar jeans..like, perlu ke?? Well, guess what? I did not ironed anything pon (phew!) but instead, I arranged baju2 dalam almari ikot color coded!! Hambekk kauuu...tetiba jer. of course everytime kemas baju skali harung ill tapis any clothes yang dah tak muat or tak sesuai nak pakai lagi and put it aside to give away. tis time i think more than 50pcs rasanya. tsk!tsk! well, we'll see la sampai bila 'keelokkan' baju2 dalam almari tue stay. hahaha...im giving myself until end of the month je kot. hah!

then, guess what? i started baking again yawwwwww......*clap!clap!clap!* i kan in rehab katanya..so rehab means theraphy and theraphy means baking! im a happy girl with my oven...*sengih* whatever was in the kitchen i make do. janji masuk oven and bake it. took time to jenguk my recipes books all over again and got inspired. im back to googling recipes and excited tak tentu arah nak try every yummy dessert i lay my eyes on. my first dessert was Chocolate Sandwhich Cake with Almond Flakes. a few days later i was in the kitchen again making Vanilla Latte Creme Caramel. so ive decided, my aim for this year is to actually bake at least 50types of desserts! Yang menjadik im gonna post it in my Tspoon Delight blog, just in case anyone would wanna order. ecehwahhh,,,confident jers! haha..for something that i dah lama tak buat, i totally forgot why the hell i even stopped baking padahal it's one of my feveret thing to do!

oh!oh! a new thing for me is for once im no longer in the social network thingy. rehab katanya right? dengan icon2 nya skali aku sorok terus...kihkihkih.. just so u know it's temporary jers...unless i absent minded terus lupa nak logged in. starting from new year until.....dunno when yet. blom decide. i did not delete anyone from my frens list ya....harap maklum. jangan nak sentap ingat yang bukan2 plak...tapi kalo sentap gak lantak ko lah kat situ kann..aku yang ber-rehab kannnnnn...

well, more and more and more things to look forward to and do this 2012 and im all hyped about it! for an instance my Kuching trip right now with familia! syiookkkk!! for someone who usually spends time with friends je selama nie, having quality time with my family this time seems so precious. i appreciate them better i think. which is a good thing...kan? *contented* i should do this more often la i think. u have no idea how fun it is to bawak Lil Dino jalan-jalan with his tot-tet-tot-tet Garfield sandal! hahaha....

started d year with a haunted house and ended with heartaches, uve given me unbelievable memories dat i will alwiz remember. alhamdulillah & thank you. i promise i will not look back on you anymore...will only move forward. im leaving all d craps behind...every anger, every tear, every scar, every frown, every ache, every shit. goodbye. for those smiles, miracles, happiness, fun, heartwarming, overwhelmed moments, it is safely kept inside my heart.

hello 2012!!!!

with open heart im very much looking forward for what u have in store for me. it makes me anxious just thinking and planning about this year. dat excited agaknya! hehehe...no kidding, the countdown to this year was much awaited. for i am officially pronoucing that tis year is gonna be my rehab year. ecehhhh...*feeling demi lovato kejap* im not gonna make any resolutions nor any promises dat im afraid i cudnt fulfill but i have a wishlist of what i plan to do..every day, every week, every month in 2012. insyaallah dengan izin-Nya.

one of it is spending more time with family and those who are dearest to heart. u know who u are right? anytime, anywhere...insyaallah i will make effort and time to be with you. well, for starters i had my NY countdown with my sister, lil Dino my nephew Afif Aydin, peluv and my babe Joanne....and the fireworks was perfect!!

lil brotha Typ left Malaysia already. sobs! sobs! ended his 3 months of holiday without mama's supervision. and yet now he's back bawah ketiak mama balik...hahaha..mummy's boy betol! :P

so we had a farewell family session last weekend with him. we went bowling. *gulp* macam tak percaya kan? i went bowling as well...tis is probably an event dat i encounter like dua tahun sekali gamaknye?!?!? kuikuikui....u see, my experience of bowling, where it involves the bowling ball and me, is somehow once or twice the ball will eventually roll ke belakang... -______-" sadis u ols!

played only for 2 games. cukup la kan...exercise tangan je ponnn..and we had two teams, the Girls and the Boys. i was joined by my sis Mamanym and her SIL Seyha while my lil brotha Typ teammates were my BIL Abu and his bestfriend King. cuba teka sapa yang menang?!?!? ke korang dah memang tahu yang aku takkan menang?? hahaha..lame betul kan?

u see the 42,42,42 and the 9,9,9 marks? yeah...dats me. -.- asyik ke longkang je masuknya! shesshh! kene practise lagi la...

ehem!!!! nie aksi lil sis Mamanym ...gaya sehhhhh! a few times after this scene she jatuh smack on her bum and we all had a gud laff about it...dont get me wrong, bukan gelak sebab dia jatuh k..we ols gelak sebab lil Dino, Afif Aydin yang tergelak besar nengok mak nye jatuh! LOL!!

it was fun...spending time with family is alwiz fun. next year, i shud do tis more often la...insyaallah. ;)

asal hari ahad je, ill tweet "diet starts on monday"...in which everyone in my life knows it will never happen. or will probably in the year 2015 or so. the most recent i tweeted that statement, the very next day i found myself with this:

and from that day forward (which was last wednesday je pon) ive decided...no more diets. eat whatever u want in moderation, drink lotsa water, more greens and fiber and desserts. kuikuikui...oh, i know i left 'exercise' out of the list but yeahhh, to be honest i can never promise ill keep my word when in comes to sweating out unless it involves music n a really gud DJ or something. pfffts!

same thing when i said ill blog more often when i get my one notebook the one in my wishlist. dah dapat dah pon...tapi blog nya tak jugak hari2 kan? haihhhh...so what ill do is probably find time to blog and blog je terus daripada plan nak blog tapi haram tak penah ikot time. aight? i doubt it if i buy any tabs wud also help.....*rolling eyes* as if!

and today, 10 days countdown to new year 2012. kejap je kan? wat have i gain? wat have i lost? wat will be my plan next year?...sheesshh! banyak betol nak kene pikir....oh well, 1st thing 1st, let's get me a new 2012 planner today. for a start kannn...im thinking, starting next year im gonna jot down ething that comes to mind. im not getting any younger, capacity otak nak ingat sumer benda is very low...espcially when im dealing with accounts in the office. stress dowh!

whats more exciting than a sunday filled with gals n make up? hehehe..

last last wiken sunday, i was invited to attend a session from Akademi Redglow...selama nie i only saw Redglow from blog Redmummy jer..or sometimes in her tweets. had no idea wat it was pon...and to be honest didnt even bothered. huhu~

so when i got invited, obviously super excited la jadiknya! i was told it was an all ladies blogger session. O.o woahhh...double excited sebabnya ive never met another blogger in real life beside kak Red. i got the chance to bawak my sis Nym who also blogs and ajak Afra, one of my feveret blogger yang tak pernah jumpe tapi asyik tweet je memanjang...hahaha.

the session was really about sharing success story and exchanging informations about women and how women can be successful. it's more on like training and developing one-self to being an independant successful women not only dari luaran but also dalaman. how u potray urself being a lady with a personality. *flips hair*

Arlina Rosli the founder of Redglow hosted the session tremendously. she's not only informative but also funny and cute i tell u. very warm person...no kidding. we also had Hizmazatul or we selamba called her Kak Isma to gave us a talk on how she started and developed being successful. now earning a 5-6 digit income. she's an ex stewardess turned out to be a unit trust agent and now heading in her peak career life. serious, dengar her story is like a motivation. gotta salute tis lady !!

the exciting part of the session was after lunch...make up baby!!!! woahhh....sumer concentrate tak agak2 mcm nk jadi make up artist! :P Arlina n Najwa, founder of Redglow ajar step by step how to do a simple smokey eyes effect for day wear. at first Arlina showed it on d model then we had to do ourselves kat muke sendiri.

last friday, my sister Tear flew back to Sydney...sobs! 3 months holiday kat Malaysia felt macam kejap sangat. she was more spending time with her good friends and besties but tak pe la...she's in her age where friends-are-my-life u know? :P

tis was actually a belated birthday celebration. and tis is only part one. im not sure if the gals wud actually percaya ke tak lagi whateva comes out from my mouth after tis..hahaha...sebabnya...hahaha...i kinda like 'punk'd' them into the wholeeeee 'fantasy-funder' scenario...hahahaha...if only i wasnt driving them around here and there i wud probably video-cam our half-a-day outing. it'll be hillarious! especially part when they got excited over wats gonna happen and where we were headed to padahal aku sendiri pon clueless!!! sorry gals, had to tipu sunat...ill redeem forgiveness nanti masa part two okeh? :P

happy birthday nenek!

my nenek is 72 tis year! alhamdulillah.... ;)

nowadays she rides in her wheelchair but fret not, she still travels in and out of Malaysia lagi banyak kali than me. ~~i hate u ptptn!~~ me and adik2 bawak her to Fullhouse for a b'day treat since she's really into all this ala2 cottage style. if the place had ducks it wudve been even perfect! yeah...she's very fond of ducks. i have no idea why..

we dressed her up in white! ooooh yesss we did!!! kengkonon nak kasi match ngn ambiance la..(but i was wearing black..pffts!). at first nenek tak nak pergi, took us almost half an hour to pujuk her keluar. kene bebel la kejap kan..merajuk punya hal. but the best part was the ayat laser part...sian kat my sister Nym. nenek cakap 'kenapa ko pakai tudung pusing2 macam2 tue? nak senang pakai tudung saji je laaaa'...LOL!!! takkkk bole blahhh~ kah!kah!kah! Nym punya muncung dah 15cm tapi takpe la...we're so used to nenek's mulut laser ~~unlike some people~~. takde maknanya nak sentap bagai. im sure she meant well.

nenek got excited about the place. from the moment akak waitress tu greeted her she was like a reporter asking this and that and wanted to know if the owner was her friend or not. obviously it was not +____+ did i tell u wheneva nenek keluar she tends to speak in english with people? hahaha..she's one proud BBGSian i tell u. nenek borak non-stop last2 we ordered jer the food for her. mula2 tadi nenek kata she dah makan...but yeah, she abiskan my chicken chop. hehehe..we letak Aydin duduk sebelah nenek so that he can put on a show for her and he did for about 10mins. he totally diverted his attention when the fries came. danggg!

nenek blowed out a candle on top of her blueberry cheesecake...which is her favorite! every year her bday cake is blueberry cheesecake. nak pujuk nenek for desserts pon it will probably be blueberry cheesecake jugak...or sometimes pizza...or dave's deli lasagna. kuikuikui...nenek basically suap one time into her mouth and 3 times into Aydin's mouth. seriously, u shud see muke Nym in slow-mo sayinggg..."neeeeennneeekkkkk jaaaaa~ " blom sempat abis ayat Lil Dino was already clapping his hand having cheesecake. wakakakaka..my sistah so funny la. hahaha.

we tried to pose n kiss her but i guess the cheesecake was yummier than us kot! i love u nenek! and i know u love me too! hehehe.... (akak cucu sulung...wat do u expect? duhhh~ ) panjang umur murah rezeki next year we celebrate lagi ok? *happy tears* it's the smile that she cracks which gives us a heart-felt warmth.

since i bought this tudung last year, nie la 1st time baru pakai. mana la plak nak tahu rupanya tudung pon ada size! i think it was in S n my face probably size L..see? kemain sendat lagi dagu tu tak pasal je. nak matching punya pasal, pakai jugak la kannnnn...ye laaa...org tua-tua cakap, tak baik if tak guna barang yang kite dah beli. at least once.

my sisters tagged along as well as my brother Typ and Lil Dino, Aydin. tapi then i realised, kenapa pics Typ takde ekk? rupanya, he was most of the time holding the camera snapping the pictures and never in front of the camera. duhhhh~

if ure wondering if the title has anything to do with KLS then ure wrong. my Mr Fabulous is my old skoolmate (like yeah..primary school kinda old okeh!) who is staying in Melaka right now... and being such a sweet darling...he made time to bawak us dinner during my stay kat Melaka a few weeks back.

pakcik Fabulous nie bawak we ols pegi makan kat area Umbai and the place was called Parameswara Ikan Bakar. kelassss u ols... makan tepi laut gitew...usually when i come to Melaka for seafood, it's always Anjung Batu for me. but ill blog on dat if i make another visit ok?

while ordering i kinda learned some new stuff. like all the names of the cengkerang dat u can eat...mak kagum nokss...terus mak amik gambo! ye laa...kalo kat KL beli lauk dlm Tesco balik2 nampak kerang jer..lala pon kekadang je ada. once in a while...terkesima. ecewahh.. korang tahu ke sepahat tu apa??

sebab lapar we ordered ikan, udang, sotong, sayur and remis. dah amek gambo beriya takkan tak nak try kan? in order to keep track, lepas ordering they'll give u number and u can seat wherever u want. the number tu was like an old lamp stand and we got lucky no.80 malam tue. sama ngan umur Mr Fabulous...eh, i mean d year Mr Fabulous was born. ish..ish..dah tua ruponya pakcik nie kan?? ahahaha...

i gotta say, the timing of the food came just nice walaupon ramai orang. impressive! besides the lauk pauk, i had 2 bungkus nasi lemak also. akak punya diet dah selamat campak ke laut ye dik! -__-"

baru je puji tengok2 our sotong somehow didnt make it to the table. must have got mixed up, tak pon dah selamat sampai kat meja orang lain. xde rezeki...oh well, tuntut next time la! x cukup one dish pon kenyangnya bukan main lagi...smp tertido dalam kete on d way back to the hotel.

they covered everything head to toe and almost everything was a bargain! our main intention was to only jalan-jalan and tengok-tengok but end up menyesal tak pergi bank dulu!! uwaaaaaaa!!!

seriously girls, next time if ada beauty expo...it's a must to go! eventho kene bayar RM10 for the entrance fee but totally worth it! especially if u own a saloon or spa business...or planning to have one. :)

it's TGIF today! and that means mood kerja dah ke laut. konsentrasi is like only...errr...10%? ehehehe..melampau. okay la...30%. another 20% is to my tummy yang tengah keroncong Hetty Koes Endang sebab tak pegi makan lunch while the balance 50% is in a mixed of thinking what's my plan tonight and macamana nak pergi jumpe Kimora. *wishful thinking* yups! *nodding slowly* Kimora is in town baybehhhh!!!

hmmm...so busy not doing work, i came across some tips on how to look good in pictures. these days, jantan ke betina ke pompuan ke lelaki ke, sumer pon kaki amik gambar kan? tak kira masa, no matter where u are. betol? kalo malu nak mengaku xpe la....tp please dont deny. if u have a FB account, i bet paling koman pon by now dah ada 10 albums. kan? kan? kan? elehhhh...in denial. -.-

1. Look Natural - which refers to ur hair actually. kalau nak amik gambar je, slalunya 1st thing nak betulkan is the hair. nak set parting laa..nak selitkan kat celah telinga la...but wateva u do, try to make it look natural walaupon korang baru kuar salun 15mins ago. it's d way how ur hair flows which makes it look sexy and lembutkan ur face...unless ure wearing a wig la kan.

2. Stick ur neck out - if u have double chins (like me...pffts!) tis is a wajib buat setiap kali posing. all u have to do is to push ur face forward ever so slightly and maintain sampai cameraman letak camera. strecth out leher tue macam zirafah...like no kidding, instant thinner face and also double chin gone!

3. Fake Tummy Tuck - the best way is to stand straight then twist ur torso a bit so ull be standing as if one shoulder is leaning towards the camera and one away from it. tis is wat u call 'cari angle'... tis slight movement will automatically make u look slim and slender especially if ure wearing heels. tapi if ure having one of those i-feel-so-bloated-today days, adalah lebih afdal untuk sorok je blakang anyone. senang. hehehe.

4. Pucker Up - most of the girls im sure knows about tis tip. come on babes! show me ur pouts...tehehehehe...the next time u muncung those lips, make it look a bit sexy with a dab of berry lip color. wheneva the flash hits and brights, it will give a subtle shape. if ure going all the way to seduce someone, tint some glossy lip-gloss to make it irresistably kissable!! mmmmmwwaahhhsss!!

5. Put 'MONEEEYYYY' where ur mouth is - ahah! tahu tak saying 'cheeeeeeseeeeee' is so last season?!?!? hehehe..nowadays u say 'moneeeeeeeeyyyyyyyy'..okeh? reason: the 'E' makes a strong sound which will make the corners of ur mouth go up! try la now! practise...practise..if ure doing it depan cermin, ull notice ur eyes will also crinkle a bit and beautifully makes ur smile genuinely.

ia adalah satu penyesalan bila ada benda best tapi terlupa nak war-war kan. seperti contoh sale PADINI kat glenmarie last-last month yang sumer benda jadi rm5. or sale NOSE kat subang yang kasut n sandals all discount sampai 70%-90% off. tapi xpe la, tak terkilan sangat sebab i pon tak pergi. hehehe...but next time, when i have benda best macam nie, insyaallah, i will dengan kadar segera share with all my readers.

another sale yang terlupa nak war-war was The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale. tis one i went and menggila tengok buku! honestly, i dont read that much like i used to zaman muda2 dulu...but i have a problem with things yang on sale. and by sale i mean really-worth-it kinda sale.

the sale was on for about a week. but due to ke-busy-an dan kemalasan, we only managed to go on the 2nd last day. tue pon sebab tak nak balik umah punya pasal. bole tak? -______-" it was located in MAEPS in Serdang. and despite ive ala2 hafal the map and tanya direction from Bern (sbb dia pegi d day before we did) we ols tetappppppp.....sesat. mula2 termasuk pusing dalam putrajaya then jumpe jalan bole plak terlepas simpang...then masuk balik putrajaya konon nak make one round la....hampeh~ the one round we made was actually a biggggggggg round dalam putrajaya. kambing btol la...

parking area sangat besar. sangat puashati sebab sangat senang dapat parking. lucky. tapi bab nak menapak ke dewan besar tue...mak aihhhhhh! i shud consider that as my exercise of the week. bare in mind im wearing heels (it was a saturday what do u expect?) while walking up, there were people who were coming down and u could see them all bringing plastic bags filled with books. ada jugak yang bawak kotak and some even bawak luggage bag filled with books! lagi semangat jalan naik bukit...sebab takot buku habis. o_O

at the entrance there was tis note from Red Readerhood stating that they need about 2000 books to contribute among charity 15homes and centres around Malaysia to help children in those community to read. shopping at the same time doing some charity for the needy. awesome!

then we went in...and i was stunned. sooooooo many books!!!!! seriously, i dont even know where to start! i was looking around and for first 15mins rasanya all i did was jalan2 pegang2 buku amik feel gitew. and the moment i saw her.....terus grab x tengok price pon. i dont care im buying it. Nigella...ure my kitchen goddess! okay kidding...ure one of my kitchen goddess. :P i know i dont celebrate xmas tapi xmas food are yummms! oh well, kata sale.

so the so-called dewan besar was actually as huge as a warehouse. and there were many many lanes of books stacked up on the tables. it had varities of categories. bibliography, photography, travelling, fictions, romantics etc....u name it. they had it. i didnt buy any cookbook tis time except for Nigella's sebab the last sale in MPH warehouse i already borong cookbooks as if im gonna open a restaurant! hehehe..

and there was this section called 'Complete Idiot's Guide' and 'For Dummies Series'...ahaha..i had a 5 second laugh since i have a few people in mind yang sangat sesuai for those category. LOL!! dont get me wrong, the books were awesome but just the category name. kelakar! :P

i think the organizers did a pretty gud job on this event. eventhough ramai orang...nauzubillah...macam pergi konsert! but then u can still walk around not feeling sweaty or greasy and still can breathe normally. u can still take ur time belek2 the books...read the sinopsis...belek2 again...and stop to think wether the storyline best ke tak...at ur own pace. if u dont mind, take the book and duduk bersila reading also cannnn....tak de hal!

after spending 4 hours scouting for books yang berkenan nak baca, we headed out to the cashier area. to my surprise....very efficient! they had a total of 30 counters and at each counter there were 2 helpers. sorang tolong asingkan buku according to the price and tell the cashier to key in and the other one helped to packed the books masuk plastic bag! by the time ure done paying...buku also dah siap! bagus kan?

now, the best part about buying the books here is the memory u'll keep after spending lotsa money. on ur way out from the warehouse, there is a section where u can stamp all the books u bought with a special Big Bad Wolf chop! bole pilih design and also color to ur liking. so everytime u open the book, ull alwiz remember of the wolf...i got his paws on my books!! ;D

if ure wondering how much i spent...im proud to say for 9 books tak sampai RM100 pon! isnt that a bargain or wat?!?!?!? penat lelah panjat bukit segala hilang when u shop with a gud deal...no wonder la orang lain sampai bawak luggage beg segala kan?!? kan?!? kan?!?

last week was my kelam kabut week.

since march i was involved in the progress of the 1WBC 2011 in Melaka under Usahanita and the peak of the moment was last week la...eh wait, no....actually the peak of the moment were the days i stayed up all night at the secretariat office and balik umah like 8 in the morning. sheeshhh! i was a zombie who looked like a zombie. sedih!

1WBC stands for 1st International Women in Business Convention. from 25th - 27th October, we berkampung at MITC Melaka. we had two sections for the convention mainly one part conference and the other part was business trade fair. since i was the secretary for the conference, makanya i berkampong lama sket from everyone else. 4 days in MITC Melaka. ke depan, ke belakang, ke kanan, ke kiri, ke atas, ke bawah...hambek kauu. i was practically running in heels.

the theme was "Transforming Women's Businesses Through Innovations". i must say, i think we had some good speaker's on board! *proud* not only from Malaysia, there were also speaker's from Indonesia, Nepal, Australia, Germany, America and Brunei.

my favourite speaker of all was Tun M of coz! we had a luncheon talk session with him on the second day. it was over-whelming. he was talking on "Mindset Change of Women SMEs in Facing Globalization". dalam pada busy pon sempat jugak menyelit to sit and hear out his talk. the Q&A's was well answered especially those who threw the questions were mostly participants and speakers from other countries. Tun M ure the best! i heart u...juta2 banyak!

another session i attended was Michael Morgan's business presentation session for an hour. he's from Epoch Australia. i just had to attend since he was recommended personally by my mom. he's one of a kind i tell u. interesting talk he gave us. very informative. to my surprise during his session we had a full house!!

did u know Ms Michelle Teh from ChurpChurp was also one of our speakers? she covered our last conference slot for the topic "Tips: How Social Media can Transform Women's Businesses". i didnt get a chance to snap a picture with her. hope ill see her again one day...*wishful thinking* but the interesting part was after the session, a few secretariats committee came up to me and started asking about ChurpChurp itself. woahhhhh!! ;D

all together we had about 100 booths participated in the event. meriah u ols! but so unfortunate for me i didnt get to jalan2 until the last day. dah la last day, petang plak tue. most booth pon dah nak tutup...*sigh*

the gala dinner was probably the time i enjoyed the most. harus la kannn..conference dah abis masa tue. so all the burden on my shoulder was gone! woohooo! the theme for the nite was "Connectivity Through Diversity" and the secretariat color for the night was shocking pink! amboiiii....masing2 jadi mak datin kauuu! i wore the simplest dress ever which i found and bought thru fb. hehe..dont u just love online shopping?!? we got Ning Baizura performing during our gala dinner too!! she sang all 7songs beautifully...including her new number Mama & Papa.

overall experience, tiring but worth it!

lama nya x update blog! seriously i dunno where to start.

for the past two week ive had sleeping disorder, eating disorder and even talking disorder. been busy with the conference in Melaka i had no extra time for myself apatah lagi tuk nak blogging.

alhamdulillah, it's over now..*clap!clap!clap!clap!*

everything went almost as planned. ada la hiccups bit sini sana but overall it went good. so proud to be involve in the 1st International Women in Business Convention. good job kat diri sendiri! :P

talking about proud, thru out the journey of completing the event im proud of learning one thing....the AI apps. Adobe Illustrator. u may call it lame giler but mak tak kesah nokkkk! mak bangga ngan diri sendiri sebab aku photoshop pon x reti pakai tetiba dah reti pakai AI.*kembang semangkuk*

i was in-charge for doing all the tags for the committee, speakers, discussants, moderators, volunteers and media...and therefore i was forced to learn to use something that i have never imagined i would. now sapa2 nak wat tag nama can order from me. ecehhhh!

at first jakun nak mati sebab kene pakai dua screen. yeah...my boss mula2 dah buat the tag dalam words apps which end up bila print tersangatlah cikai nya.....like duhhhh~ so all my work in word haram satu pon tak bole nak pakai. hampeh! copy paste la gamaknye masuk ke AI. challenging siottt!!!!!

i took me 3days to complete all tags printed out and laminated cantik2. with name list yang panjang berjela. sampai x tido, sampai sakit2 badan. bila time2 mata senget ke tepi mengantoks tue ngan line2 kat tag pon senget skali...pedulik apa orang nak cakap. now i know a bit here and there to use AI. ini akan lebih menyenangkan my bestfren Ikha to teach me ke level yang lebih advance...ahahahaha..so Ikha, soon ill have a Q&A session u pulak ok? wpon i akan di tanya maybe 15kali d same soklan..please bare with me ya...faktor umur. agagagaga.

whoever grew up in the 80s (like me!) im sure ada favorite old school cartoon right? well in my case...i have lots. those were the days of zaman-kegemilangan-cartoon...hehe..well, for me at least.

they were practically my idols. apa derang cakap, i cakap. apa derang buat, i buat. apa derang pakai, i pakai. they give an impact to us kids eventho they were only cartoon characters. and that impact kinda like left us remembering them for a long longggggg time. in other words, sampai tua pon bole ingat gitew....

one of my favorite was My Little Pony...."my little pony...my little pony...isnt the world a lovely place"...(lagu intro wajib nyanyi)..it's about a kingdom of little ponies in a far away land filled with adventure and what not. each pony has a unique name and differently special.

they're really girlish with usually something pinkish on with lustry hairs. see? what's not love abouth them! everytime pergi toys area in the mall, ill make sure to check 'em out. ye lahhh...kengkonon nak collect all of the ponies laaaa....ala2 macam collection McDonalds kan. i did actually collect a few....dalam 6-7 ponies je i think. i still have em but i think they're in the box somewhere dalam store kat umah mama. :P

the toys ( that i own..like the ones above ) and the cartoons mesti la sebijik sejibon kan? usually they'll come together with the sikat for the hair and sometimes ada baju n all. rambut color2 bagai. if u knew me in 2008, i color rambut with pink streaks sebab ikot derang la! hahaha...yeah right. kidding! lolz...

but to my surprise...my visit to Toys R Us baru2 nie gave me the shocked of my life!!!!! i had no choice to stare at it for about 10 minutes sebab terkejut nauuu....look how My Little Pony looks like nowadays...

haaaaaaa!?!?!?!?!? amek kauuu...she got herself a botox injection, nose job and siap eye surgery besarkan mata!!!! huahuahua....kasut pon dah ala2 Charles & Keith wehhh.....*tepuk dahi* i was stunned. o_0 like....erkkks?!?!?!? apakah?!?!?!

oh my, people change...apparently cartoons too! havent watched any of them lately. but am looking forward to it. nowadays belek2 la gak kat Cartoon Network..mana la tau, kot-kot ada kan? oh well.........thank God i had the best memories of how they used to be..those gud times when it was really good. :)

last saturday, orang lain sumer sebok g Grand Final iMetro, i ended up in KLCC with my bestie (who just came out with her own single..hehe!) and her lil miss Barbie, Mya. first time ever i did not have the heart to go and watch my team play...and probably will never again dah lepas nie. retired from dunia futsal wanita. ecehhh...if i were to main the sport bole la pakai ayat 'gantung kasut' ye tak? but since aku nie ala2 pompom girl je maka ayatnya ialah gudbye futsal.

my date with tis two pretty chichas was at The Apartment, KLCC for lunch. i gotta tell u dah lama giler i havent been to KLCC. bila check in foursquare, my last time was in March....lama kannnn? tersangat lama sampai sesat2 aku cari ATM machine kat concourse level. cehhh! banyak kedai baru too! okay k..maybe xde la baru sangat but hellooooo...baru la kat aku yang sesat nie haaa dikkkk!

macam biasa, Mya will alwiz greet me with her super cute smile. mula2 baru jumpe tak berapa mesra. after a while dah warm up, she start talking non-stop with me. adorable little dumpling! :)

(literally speaking okay....) but this time datang, the waiter cakap "pavlova blom bake"...*frust tonggeng* sobs!sobs! dah la 6 bulan skali nak jejak KLCC...cehh!

after lunch to kill time, we went to check-out the so-called new Toys 'R' Us...bukan Mya sorang je yang excited about it..dengan i skali sama je menggodek all the toys! tekan sana, tekan sini...i was boogey dancing while Elmo was hitting the drums. i even gave him a round of applause!! hahaha...cuba teka what Mya chose to buy? like duhhh~ mesti la Barbie's collection!! mula2 dia nak set baju princess siap ada crown and jewellery, but her mom cakap "Mya x muat laaa..tu utk budak2 kecik" ..sabar je laaa...agak2 la menipu pon bestie oiii...hahaha.

after another round of drinks, and Mya started to gigit2 my hair while admiring it, it was time to balik laaa..orang pon makin ramai kat KLCC. kerimasan. no wonder la i seldom turun. ramai sangat orang on weekends. i dont know when's the next time tho...but definitely ill be back for those Ess Moten!!!!! it's been ages since i had a session of GIRLS NIGHT OUT! *chop!* did i just use the word 'ages'? hamaiiigadddd...i sounded like im in d 50-ties or something kan? *tepuk dahi* bengongs mu nieh! okay, back to the story...Joanne was invited to attend a preview party of tis new club Vertigo last thursday and the best part she can bring 2 guests! like hollaaaaaa! mesti la dia ajak her GG babes kan? woot!woot!

blom sempat tanya permission i dah awal2 said "im in babe!" ...cewahhh..excited sokmo. lupa diri sekejap. so for the past one week before the event keje kitaorg was replying each other thru email on what to wear, where to meet and what not. brapa kali mention excited kat twitter tak yah la cakap kan...hahaha!

VERTIGO! the latest club in town yawwww! d place is actually not that bad. it's divided into two rooms. Nero & Bianco. mula2 masuk we headed to Nero sebab bukak tutup pintu dok dengar lagu R&B...macam best! but we didnt stayed for long sebab R&B dia mcm....R&B confuse. hehehe..i mean, gamaknya d DJ wasnt sure which to mix (agaknye laa...) n end up with Neyo & Rihanna- Hate That I Love You. sing-a-long la aku ngn Joanne kan! pffts! tp the neon-lights bling2 were awfully wicked cool! it's also where the dance floor is...but then again, preview pukul 9pm, sapa kejadahnya nak menari2 time tu kan?

so we decided to take a peek at the other room. konon2 kalo x best, we balik lepak makan lagi syiokkkk! entering the room je made Joanne say "tis is more like it babeeeeee" n from there on 3 kali attempt nak balik...3 kali jugak letak balik handbag and sambung 'exercise' ...ahahaha. Bianco played more like house music and it gets better when they mixed it with old school tunes....like we gals were looking at each other and going "OMG! lagu zaman DV8!" ..pastu gelak2 mcm kitaorg bertiga je ada kat dalam room tue. and bila tersedar DV8 tu zaman tok kaduk and rasa tua...behave duduk la kejap for about 3mins until d next rocking song comes out!!

last wiken saturday banyak betol hal #kalipertama. hashtag ala2 twitter trending gitu kan...#kalipertama pergi tengok musical teater Secret Life of ~~Nowa~~ Nora...tq again to Redmummy, #kalipertama jejak IB, Istana Budaya..padahal dulu2 slalu je lalu sana odw nak pergi keramat, #kalipertama jejak kat umah baru my beloved Intan..n terbang 50hengget sbb kete kene clamp, #kalipertama makan kuih cara berlauk kat open house...sampai 15bijik hambik kauuu. i honestly feel lucky...

but on sunday...i was luckier!

#kalipertama (tetappppp)..i had the chance to attend event Ferrari. how cool is dat?!?!? nak beli x mampu, attend event je yg mampu. #kalipertama jugak masuk ke paddock area SIC, Sepang International Circuit. usually when im there the furthest ive been was the parking area of the main building tu jer...hahaha..ye laa..datang masa F1 bisingggg. telinga nie dah la x brapa nak virgin...dah la kengkadang pekak...mau plak nanti pokak terus. mati la mek! :P

for a few hours i stayed at the Naza Italia lounge among all the other Ferrari owners. haiihhh....cantik menarik tertarik kau memang the bom sungguh!! which obviously were their cars laa...not them. hehehe...in the middle of the room ada sebijik bom merah yg menarik tertarik tue. sebagai perhiasan i suppose. siap ada awek next to her all the time. kelazzzzzz...all she did was stand there and look pretty. but obviously she aint doing that well sebab si merah tu was wayyyyyyy gorjes!

the lounge

there were 3 interesting areas that caught my attention in the lounge area:

Ferrari collections on sale...

1. Ferrari collections booth...where the items sangat tempting untuk dibeli if only aku ada platinum credit card. ahahaha...bengongs. u see the pretty brown bag in the above pics? haaaa.....tersangat lah berkenan di hati but the moment i read the RM3,650 on the tag kecut terus kenan aku dowh. pffts! nak puaskan hati yg dah kecut tue, mak pegang feel-feel kain je la noks!

the simulator

2. The Simulators....there were 4 of these babies. ala2 macam main Daytona gitewww but then yang nie of course la drive Ferrari.Datuk Wira SM Faizal had a race session with the other guests..meriah lounge tu sekejap! hehehe...Fairuz Fauzi was among who competed. sapa2 yang datang bole je main with this machine but i was wearing heels *alasan* so ala2 tak sopan la nanti kan? so duduk tepi tengok jer laaa...budak kecik 9 yrs old pon drive Ferrari. kelazz ko jah! kecik2 training ngan simulator dikkk...dah besau nanti ko race la yg bebetol k? make sure pass lesen P dulu tau..

3. as u guessed by the pictures...food area harus lah the best part of the lounge kan! ce-teka brapa kali i ulang alik at this area? pandai2 la korang teka sebab im not telling......*malu* they had brunch served with pasta, nasi and some other lauk as well. but the yummiest was the salmon in cream sauce. menjilat garpu sudu aku! then for tea-time they served roti jala with kari ayam, otak-otak pastry and apple struddle with custard sauce. dappppsss! obvious kan nie favorite place? pagi sampai ke petang...ish ish ish...yummy fud was catered from Pan Pac Klia Hotel.

i reallyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy wanted to take the pictures of the cars yang ber-racing tue but looking thru the glass window waiting for them to lalu area paddock, and dah lalu tak sampai 3seconds hilang balik so end up i amik pics kete2 yang bergerak je la ekk? yang duduk diam2 cantik2 elok2...

definitely an experience! and the best part, jumpe a gud fren yang dah bertahun tak jumpe, Wenny. she was the organiser who handled the event. awesome! i must say, staffs from Naza sangat friendly...very gud PR. lepas nie sila invite lagik ekkk u ols! hehehe..MotoGP event coming up end of October. looking forward! :)

sometimes u wudnt know ur luck if u dont try. so here's what i did...friday night lepak umah main twitter. yes people, my friday nights are no longer mandi pukul 9pm, keluar pukul 10.30pm and balik pukul 4.30am. those were the days......phew! tengah2 scroll timeline i saw @redmummy's tweet so dan dan tue terus RT and did what she asked. 10mins later...i was jumping turun tangga sebab excited sesangat! i got 2 tickets for Secret Life of Nora for FREE!!!!! woot!! woot!! *doing the running-man*

for the first time i finally got to meet one of my feveret blogger Kak Red and for the first time jugak im watching a musical theater. i TERmiss the Kampung Boy Lat show a few months back. itu je dah cukup menyesal so obviously am not gonna miss this one! :P

whats not to love about Agent Nora? she's a primadonna, accidental spy! ill sum it up in two words: ENTERTAINING & COLOURFUL!!! if only i had the lyrics ill definitely sing a long...confirm! if only i know the dance steps i'll....ahhh u know wat i mean -.-

Tiara Jacqueline, i tell u saaaaangat canteks! ur eyes will be glued to her the moment she comes out on stage. Adibah Noor saaaaaangat kelakar! bila lagi nak tengok dia terbang kan?? and Pak Nil saaaaangat pelat! huhuhu..u gotta go n watch to find out! haahahaha!

obviously, we werent allowed to take pictures during the show. but degil kan...ada la satu dua tue terlepas amik. O.o xbrapa la nak nampak obvious compared to kakak yang duduk two seats in front of me. x agak2 bawak kuar camera siap video hoccayyyyy...

yes, super duper extra excited sebabnya the 1st time i saw the "siapa siapa itu?" video clip in Astro pon i dah menggelinjat nak pergi. skali memang betol2 dapat pergi with a pair of awesome tickets! sukerrrrrr!! :D

kept my word, diet starts on friday....

yups, last friday i had another salad quest. due to the traffic jem yang macam 'tettttttt!' it was almost impossible to move out to anywhere! imagine laa..nak masuk ke Subang Parade pon jem tahap cipan! grrrr!

so we had no choice but to head outskirt sket from subang area. nak balik ke USJ lagi la jangan kau nak berangan. hmmmph! so we went to the new mall in town Citta Mall, Ara Damansara.

for the first time ever, parking lot full! bole tak?
lapar punya pasal, we head on to Meatworks. the other places macam dah penuh jer...and demi diet and healthy eating i ordered their Ceasar Salad with Grilled Chicken.

hmmmmm.....honestly, the salad was more like a lazy salad sebabnya it didnt have enuff dressing, ada telor rebus (macam makan pasemboq) and the croutons and beef strips macam dah masuk angin. lemauuuuuu..d only thing that was fresh were the greens. i hope they'll improve sometime in the future.

oooooh! 1st time ever open house ada my feveret kueh....open house my beloved cosin of course!!! i lap u la intannnnn!!!! this year, believe it or not, i only attend open house family sajer..umah intan (my cosin) and umah maksu. tak sempat nak ke open house orang. nak buat open house sendiri pon tak menyempat. tunggu tahun depan je la ekk?? :P

hmm, amik kauu...2 jam kat sana ada kot dalam 15-20 bijik aku bedal....kalo stay sampai 4jam mau clear tupperware nie kot! suke punya pasal, terbang 50hengget sebab kete kene clamp pon xde hal!

last 3weeks or so i said the darnest thing ever..and by darnest wud be "i rasa i nak exerciselah!".................*silence*...............*bunyi cengkerik*..........wat was i even thinking blabbing dat out of my mouth!?!?!?!?! *tepuk dahi* wtf. i know for sure... (and everyone around me too) that wat i said is not gonna happen.like.ever...kot! pffts!

i have a cycling machine at home courtesy given by nenek, angkut sumbat masuk kete from Kg Baru to USJ yang hanyalah perhiasan semata buat masa nie sebab for the past few months being here, ive only been on dat thing only like 3 times with 10mins duration jer. itu pon naik sebab suke2 bosan. turun machine terus pegi dapur. apakah?!? currently the machine is where i sangkut my fedora and my pangkor hat.

then last weekend i had this craving of eating healthy. and by healthy means, mengidam nak makan Ceasar Salad. kelazzzz kan?!? siap ada specific tempat where to eat plak tue! sunday...rest & relax...very soothing ambiance..i chose to dindin in Plan B @ Bangsar Village. remember my salad quest entry?

kongkonon makan salad is a healthy lifestyle la...oh well, u gotta start somewhere right? i seldom eat salad like fresh vegetables like that..so whenever mengidam tu im taking it as a positive alert that my body (and anak tekak..) is wanting to be healthy.

makan punya makan. borak punya borak. at the end of d day ive made a promise to myself....to eat and drink healthy starting monday. so, my every week motivation 'diet starts on monday' nampaknya dah tak boleh pakai. am gonna change dat to 'being healthy starts on monday' pulak..can? diet can start on friday la..sebab weekend slalu tak beringat melantak macam anak gajah. sume benda nak masuk mulut. -___-"

sue suggested and convinced me to drink air suam/plain water/mineral everyday...and guess what? starting last monday i did! *syabas inspector saab! clap!clap!clap!* i mean drinking it without hesitation laa...im a person who drinks air manis all the time. ~~sbb tu mulut manis, muke manis, senyum manis~~...air kosong nie wud be my option in d case of darurat maybe. but 4 days so far on this regime had apparently made me visit Mr Tan quite a few times extra than usual...Mr Tandas dat is. my new buddy.
