:: Kuching trip; day 1 ::

it's always, bila kene bangun pagi u end up tido lambat d night before. yes? no? or is it just me...hmmm..anyways, yeah...we tido agak lambat dat wednesday night but bangun pagi for our trip to Kuching. flight was at 7ish am so by 4.45am i was already up and called Anem. rupanya dia blom tido sebok tengok game EPL kot. kelasss kau jahhh!

nak dijadikan citer, arrived in LCCT just nice for us to check in those bags. i didnt check in any...tak nak membazir duit. ecehhh...mengangkut la kau beg ke hulu ke hilir kan? but im a light traveler nowadays. (comparing to zaman2 dulu laaaa...) now i bring only wat i think ill wear. if given options pon maybe an extra 2-3 helai jer. tis time jugak i did not do any pre-shopping for hols. angkut je apa yang ada. pakai je whatever u have. i didnt need to since i did some de-cluttering of my wardrobe and found those tops yang dah lama x pakai. so yeah...light traveler. yang berat was my toiletries and make-up. no one wanted to carry dat one. caits!

menggelabah started when i got to know my sis TERlupa nak amik lil Dino, Afif Aydin's birth cert. so my BIL had to patah balik to their house in Puchong to get it. he had an hour or so..being d eldest haruslah i membebel a bit but looking at my sister's face yang dah macam muncung tikus i ended up had only a short tarbiah bla..bla..bla..she's nowadays like mama, gets touchy easily. 6 adults and 3 kids was a bunch actually but this is what happens when u get flight tickets dengan harga rm35 return flights. ull end up wanting to bring d whole family along. nasib baik nenek malas nak ikot, if not ngan kerusi roda dia skali we checked-in kan tadi. hahaha..

my so-called-adventurous trip started when BIL arrived just in time and we had to run towards the boarding gate. macam dalam movie siot! serious tak tipuuuu....mak siap bukak kasut lari kejar kapal terbang tue. d others yang boarding dulu siap mintak inform stewardess to wait for us...and they did! sangat baik hati AirAsia nie kan?? kan?? hahaha..tercungap2 tak cukup nafas aku. bukan berjogging di pagi hari...nie lari pecut namanya! dah la our plane was park kat gate 02 which was yang paling hujungggggggg skali. all eyes were on us once we boarded...15seconds of unwanted fame. haha..d happiest person would probably be lil Dino. he was as cheerful masa adengan berlari-lari tue...hahaha!

arrived at d airport i called Alisa. she's one of my good friend dari zaman ITM days. all excited giving her the 'im-finally-here' moment talk when she told me the latest news; "Ala beb, Kuching flash-flood tau tis morning. Hujan non-stop"....*jaw-dropped* oh noooooo...baju i bawak sumer are like summer-time holiday tops! erks! terbaikkk...hujan dan banjir.and did not even brought any cardigans. pffts! .____.

thank God our hotel was not effected. kalau tak, confirm i nanges dulu kat airport awal2.kuikuikui. we stayed in Basaga Residence. very nice i tell u. cosy. choosing a place to stay was satu hal. at first memang ingat nak stay dalam town but while surfing the internet i found out about this place, called and terus book the very next day. i was thinking why not stay somewhere surrounded by trees and garden concept kan? i mean, kat KL nie jer dah penuh ngan hutan batu. ecehhh...feeling mother nature tetiba. partly was also the hospitality of the staff here. i dealt with Zura and she was really helpful! loved it! it was a nice stay, really. but, it's 7mins or so from the town by shuttle/car tapi if nak ikot macam mat salleh backpackers it only takes about 30mins walking. exercise nyahhh....

we were lucky, sampai hotel around 10am terus bole check in! oohh..sorry pics bilik takde..xsempat nak snap. all of us went for breakfast at the cafe and then sambung tido. bole tak?!?!? hahaha..our rooms were facing the swimming pool. can't mandi pon since it was drizzling. and that was also one of the reason we all jadi ular sawa....tidoq! woke up by lunch and took hotel shuttle to the town. per trip to town was about rm15. stopped right in front of Sarawak Plaza. masuk jenguk jap tak sampai 30minutes we dah kuar cari tempat lain nak menyinggah. then we found the miows! 

the wajib pergi and take picture tugu of bandar Kuching. they were cute but giant sized. we parked lil Dino in his stroller kat tengah2 and everyone bergilir-gilir took turns taking pictures. sumer pics ada lil Dino. hehehe...nanti dah edit ill post it ya. sloppy bangun tido face masa nie....kasi i touch up dulu kayyy...

jalan punya jalan punya jalan...last2 we stopped at tempat yang sah-sah sedap, KFC. i know right? u must be like, KFC jer????? nak buat macamana, dat was d only smell that caught out hidungs! how can u resist that? kannnnnnnn?

later we found ourselves in Waterfront area. jakun kauuu jumpe sungai live! wakakakakaka...tengok dalam tv macam kecik kan? nahhhh...hambekkkk...besau jugak la. kalo berenang confirm dua hari. err..im talking about me laa..hahaha..beriya i texted Alisa tanya about the famous kek lapis seberang sungai in Kg. Gersik and she replied "Beb, dont think now is a good time to cross the sungai la..sebab arus deras kannn"....padahal we ols dah selamat dah sampai seberang. super excited naik sampan/perahu. jakun. again. and per person was only 50sen..*continue men-jakun*

it's been told Kg. Gersik has the best kek lapis. we pegi jenguk Dayang Salhah. indeed she was famous and there were lots of kek lapis. rambang mata siot......macam budak kecik masuk kedai cokelat! ill make an entry on d kedai itself nanti k...sebab nak share pictures too. borong kek lapis macam nak berniaga jadi nya! lil Dino was centre of attention there. their staffs all attended to him while mak n bapak dia busy pilih kek. God knows how many slices he had. mana tak nye...samples all atas meja yang sama tinggi dengan dia jer. bulat mata dia tengok those colorful cakes. took one and masukkan all dalam mulut. sabar je la...

took a cab back to the hotel and dine for dinner at the cafe in the hotel jer. a lot of people datang dinner in Basaga. it must the very chilled-out ambiance. cosy with their jazz music and all. and food was nice too! was planning our journey for the second day during dinner...jeng jeng jeng...
